Science skills are for life not just for school.
The skills they learn in their science lesson, like teamwork, communicating, solving problems, handling equipment safely and making predictions are not just for science, or to make you happy.
The workplace is full of all sorts of transferable skills i.e. ones that can be transferred to any job. Science is the subject that allows them to develop these skills because of the huge range of topics, practicals and investigations.
